This week has been a hazy week. Singapore’s smog levels had reached hazardous levels for the past few days, and it even came to a point that Singapore hits a record-breaking PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) at 401! The cause is none other then the forest fires in Sumatra.
Increasingly number of people began to wear a mask out as they started to see the seriousness of the haze. On the other hand, I’m surprised that there are a handful of people who don’t even care to put on a mask to protect themselves from the hazardous air.
Fortunately, the haze is clearing up due to the change in direction of wind, PSI has dropped below 100 now. However, we still have to keep ourselves readily protected from the unhealthy air!
